Canada has announced a new scholarship for Indian students which is worth $100 million. The initiative was announced during a visit by Prime Minister Mark Carney to India. It is a part of the Canada-India Talent and Innovation Strategy which aims to strengthen cooperation and research in education. This $100 million scholarship is made up of 200 scholarships being funded by the University of Toronto.
More details about these scholarships will be released later. However, it has been reported that these scholarships will be available for students at undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and post-doctoral levels.
